Fern
Ridge Reservoir, richly endowed for sailing enjoyment, lies at the
south end of 100-mile long Willamette Valley, 15 miles west from
downtown Eugene, Oregon.
The Army Corps of Engineers built the dam that created it and controls
the lake's outflow.
The local geography is a flat flood plain north and east with hills
on the south and west.
For more info about sailing on the lake,
see the Sailing
Conditions area.
